Terrible Twos?

Winston is going to be 3 in less than 2 weeks! I thought we were pretty much through the terrible twos. I am starting to wonder... He has been sooo naughty lately! He doesn't listen to a word I say! Today he used a crayon to color on the stone on our fireplace then while I was in the other room he dumped a bag of sugar out on the carpet! I had no words. Let's hope he is just making the best of these last few days! 3 will be better, 3 will be better, 3 will be better. Say it with me people!

Sin City!!!

Brett and I took a quick trip to Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago! It was the first time I have left Winston overnight! I was a little nervous about leaving him but when Lori picked him up and he couldn't get in her car fast enough it quickly put my worries to rest. I'm pretty sure he has more fun when we're not around ;) As for the trip, it was just what we needed. We went to amazing restaurants, a funny comedy show, laid by the pool, shopped, road a coaster and even caught the Utah game on Saturday afternoon. We had a great time, with great friends!

Dinner at Switch, this was the most amazing restaurant! Every 20 minutes the walls move and the ceiling changes. It's like a whole new restaurant each time, only in Vegas!

The Paris has the best little restaurant called Mon Ami Gabi. Soo good. We had lunch there with our cousin Ryan and his little girl Reese.

Frrrozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity. This is a must next time you're in Vegas, they are to die for! The food is really good also.

We snuck in another quick shopping trip before we left while the guys hit up the Buffet.

Such a good time! Can't wait for another trip!

More Photo Booth

Winston is becoming quite the little Mac expert! He can often be found sitting in front of our computer browsing pics in iphoto or bouncing along to whatever he's found in itunes. Most recently he has discovered how to use Photo Booth all by himself.

Happy Birthday Corgan!

We went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Draper for Corgan's birthday. It's actually pretty cute, defiantly better than it was at the Gateway. The boys had a great time!

Our Summer

We've had such a fun summer! (maybe that's why it's been so long since my last post!) Here is just a little of what we've been up to.

Spent a Sunday afternoon in the canyon making foil dinners and roasting marshmallows. This is as close as we come to camping!

Played a little tennis. Winston loved it!

Spent an awesome Sunday at the ranch. This place is seriously heaven! So relaxing and beautiful. The kids are always entertained. Winnie's favorite part of this day??? By FAR the four-wheeler! He could have spent all day on that thing.

Winston's first trip to Lagoon! We had a blast! He loved all the rides, especially the train.

Got our own little backyard pool. Defiantly a hit! Why did I wait until the end of summer to get one of these???

Took a quick little trip to Willard. I realized as we were getting ready to launch the boat that I had forgotten Winston's life jacket! Seriously? That's pretty much the most important thing I needed to bring. Luckily we found this orange beauty tucked away in the boat! Even more lucky... we were able to rent one for the day that actually fit!

Took Front Runner to Gateway with our buddies Beckham and Corgan. They all love Front Runner and the Gateway Museum.

Last Sunday was PERFECT kite weather! Winnie was beyond excited to fly his Thomas kite. With a little help from dad Thomas was soaring in no time. It was a really good time :)
