lesson learned

So... I locked my kid in my car. It was really scary and sad. It's one of those things you hear about and think "what an idiot, how could someone let that happen", turns out it's pretty easy! Thankfully it wasn't extremely hot outside. I called 911 as soon as it happened and a very nice officer tried for over 30 minutes to open the door. As you can see he did not succeed!  Winston sat calmly buckled in his car-seat while we tried to rescue him! He started to cry a little the last few minutes he was in there and he was pretty scared  while the officer was breaking the window. Hopefully I won't make that mistake again!

I still can't get over this! And I love the tractor picture. You should get that framed.

Let's not do that again Winnie! I glad that everything turned out ok and that Winnie is such a good kid. He probably thought, "This is a fun new way of playing peekaboo!"
Yeah for the policeman breaking the window!

That is one of my worst fears! I want to cry even thinking about what I would do! I am glad that everything turned out well.
